Howard Murdoch

Howard has had extensive experience in both private and public sectors in a variety of professional roles and appointments. He currently undertakes legal work for clients in Family Law, Criminal Law, Litigation and Corporations Law as well as in other legal areas including Migration Law.

He currently holds a practicing certificate as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia and is a member of CPA Australia.

He recently was involved instructing counsel in the Full Federal Court of Australia landmark case, Ahmed and two others against Minister for Immigration overturning the earlier Lee decision which had restricted the rights of sc457 visa applicants. He has also won re-consideration for clients who failed the Character test, and in also assisting clients addressing a wide range difficulties they have experienced with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.
