Stephanie Hsiao

Stephanie has been practicing law in New South Wales since 2015 and has worked extensively on matters relating to Australian immigration, in addition to sale and purchase of business/property, negotiating financial agreements and commercial leases, and family law-related resolutions and litigations. After working for three years in general practice, Stephanie chose to specialise in complex immigration cases relating to almost all visa categories: from preparing urgent migration visa applications at the primary stages to handling difficult and convoluted matters through tribunal review, judicial and ministerial stages.

Stephanie has experience in obtaining positive outcomes for: requests for Ministerial Intervention; assisting counsel to successfully overturn s501 visa cancellations; other visa cancellations and refusals on character and/or health grounds. She is passionate about working closely with clients whose cases involve children in order to achieve the best outcomes for families. She has represented corporate clients in employer-sponsored visas and blue-chip clients in Significant Investor Visa (SIV), and handled all range of visa applications including skilled, student, family, humanitarian, and bridging visas.

As a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who prides herself on consistently and efficiently achieving high standards within the immigration regulatory framework, Stephanie maintains exceptional client satisfaction levels, in even the most challenging cases.

Prior to the practice in law, Stephanie completed a Bachelor of Science degree In Taiwan, majoring in graphic and industrial design, with components studied in London.
